This policy describes how Kupid Team (“we”) handles personal data when you use the Kupid website, web app, and Android app (the “Service”).

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email, display name, and a password hash if you register with email.
• Social login: if you continue with X, Google, or Naver, we receive the identifier, name, and email those providers give us for sign-in. X is used only via GET /2/users/me. We do not read your posts, followers, or DMs, and we do not post on your behalf.
• Service content: chats, files you attach, settings, routines, and related product records.
• Usage and device data: IP address, user agent, error logs, approximate location from IP for security, and token-usage counters needed to apply your plan.
• Cookies and similar storage: see the Cookie Policy. Session tokens (JWT) keep you signed in.
• Analytics (only after you Accept cookies): Google Analytics 4 events such as page view, screen name, labeled clicks, login, sign-up, checkout, and purchase. Processed by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Chat bodies and email addresses are not sent. A hashed account id may be used as user_id.

2. How we use it

We use this data to create and authenticate your account, operate AI teammates, apply plan limits, keep the Service secure, and communicate about the product. We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

We do not use your private chats or attached files to train foundation models.

3. AI processing

Prompts, tool results, and related context are sent to model providers as needed to generate replies and complete tasks you requested. Outputs can be wrong. Do not put secrets in chat unless the product’s secure-storage flow is used for that item.

4. Sharing

Hosting, CDN, and infrastructure processors (including Cloudflare) process requests to run the Service. If you Accept cookies, Google Analytics processes measurement events as described above. We disclose data when required by law or to protect the Service and other users.

5. Retention

We keep account data while the account exists. Chat images may be deleted from disk after a stated period. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize linked identifiers except records we must keep for security or law.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Your choices

You may access or update profile fields in the Dashboard, change your password there, and request deletion by contacting us through the Service. You may reject non-essential cookies.
